“I’m a freshman here. I’ve only been here, I guess…about two months now. So, I’m still getting used to the whole experience. But I am in love with Mercer. Uh. I am in love with Macon so far.
You know, some people say some bad stuff about it. But I really haven’t run into that yet. You just gotta, you gotta keep your head about you, of course. But as long as you’re safe. Um, it’s a great place to be.
Honestly…I’m sure Mercer is a huge part of why I love this place. Everyone here is friendly. You know, you go downtown and people wave at you, talk to you even. It’s fun.
I like the food there. I went to an amazing Mexican place a few days back. I don’t even remember the name of it.
There’s actually a comic book store…I’m not that much of a comic book guy. I just like going down there and looking around ‘cause there’s cool stuff there.
I am from Kennesaw. So not that far from here.
I’m thinking I want to go into Law…we’ll see if that changes. Because, like I said, I’m just a freshman.
I like justice. I like things being fair for everybody.
I honestly like showing off a bit. I like to go up there, and I like to present. And I like to be the center of attention. So, I’m thinking, maybe a trial lawyer.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the…I guess, the fairness and patrioticness of this whole ‘take-a-knee’ thing. I kind of see both sides of it. I’m not really sure where I stand yet. Because it’s a complicated situation.
I was watching the news while I was exercising. They said uh…one of the dads of one of the football players got denied a job, working on a house because his son took a knee. I don’t know if that’s right. I don’t know if I support that.
It’s kind of a thing you don’t want to bring up to people.
I’m thinking of doing law school maybe here, maybe UGA.
I’m just looking forward to being in college, being in Macon…just getting to be a college student.
What makes me laugh? Funny voices. Really simple.”
